Due to several reported issues with my previous gallery, I have installed an AMAZING new online gallery and shopping cart this week!!! After much deliberation, research and rave reviews from fellow photographers - I chose an online gallery and shopping cart with incredible features that make for an intuitive, fast and simplified previewing and shopping experience! I thought I would give you a little preview of the new features so you can learn about all the fabulous details!
GALLERY HOME PAGE
You can now access your online gallery directly at www.cstudiosblog.com/store which takes you to the following Gallery Home Page featuring a list of active online galleries. From this page, simply click on your gallery name from the list and enter your gallery password.
(You can also access this page by visiting my website at www.cstudiosphotography.com and selecting "PREVIEWS" from the menu)
ACCOUNT LOGIN
This is the most thrilling feature of the entire gallery! You can now register an online account which allows the system to store your personal information such as; your gallery password, favorite image selections, shopping cart selections and previous order history, so you can access your account information anytime from any computer! Sweetness, right?!?
THUMBNAIL VIEW
This is the default view when you enter your gallery. From the thumbnail page, you can quickly preview your thumbnail images and scroll page by page through the gallery.
QUICK VIEW
The quick view allows you to scroll your mouse over the magnifying glass next to a thumbnail image for a pop-up preview of the image.
FULL VIEW
When you click on a thumbnail image, you will see a full view of the image and will also see all the prints and products available for purchasing to the right of the image.
QUICK THUMBNAIL MENU
While in the full view screen, you will see an option at the bottom of the screen that says Hold Mouse Here to View Thumbnails. When you scroll your mouse over that text, a pop-up thumbnail menu will appear, which allows you to quickly preview thumbnails while staying in the full view mode.
PRINTS AND PRODUCTS
There are several custom prints and products available for purchase directly from your gallery, including; Individual Prints, Print Collections, Canvas Gallery Wraps, Canvas Collections and LOFT Montages. When you click the drop-down menu titles for the various products, you will see a detailed description and photo of each product, as well as size and price options for each item.
