When Debra asked me if I would mind coming to New York City to document their engagement session...all I could think was, "Would I MIND going to New York City??".  Uh, it's only one of the most amazing, inspiring and romantic cities ever.  Not to mention how much I adore doing sessions in locations that hold a special place in the hearts of my couples.

Equally as special as doing their session in the city where they live and love...was the fact that we had the entire city totally and completely to ourselves.  It was Memorial Day weekend and nearly everyone had migrated to the nearest beach for the humid holiday.  We woke at dawn and ventured into the peacefulness of West Village and Central Park...with our hearts full, the streets empty and our thoughts infused with the historic loveliness of this grand, romantic city.  Debra and Brian are so quietly sweet with each other, I was overcome with a sense of peace, comfort and familiarity while documenting their love.
